welcome to ards evangelical church
Ards Evangelical Church is an independent evangelical church, with no affiliations, responsibilities or attachments, other than those we owe to the Lord.

Elders
According to New Testament scriptures, Elders are individuals recognized for their spiritual maturity, and 'set' before the people as teachers and leaders. AEC have chosen 3 men from our membership, who work as a team, given with the task of bringing believers to maturity, and leading them by their teaching and example.

Deacons
Currently 5 men have been chosen by our elders and confirmed by the by the congregation of AEC, with the function of assisting the leadership in ministering to the needs of the local church. They are, in effect, servants to the congregation.

Our members are drawn from all strands of society and although our numbers are growing, a central tenet of our belief is that every single member of our church is important.

In a society that is fragmenting and falling apart, it is good to know that Ards Evangelical Church provides a spiritual home and a church family to support us all.

Values/Vision
You must be born again

It is our prayer that Ards Evangelical Church be a place where God is seen, love is felt, and lives are changed, built on the firm foundation of Jesus, and with the following core values;

  • Prayer
  • Bible centered preaching / teaching
  • Evangelism
  • Discipleship
  • Fellowship
  • Godly leadership
